Due to the nature of his job, Adam had to literally live out of his suitcase. He would go from city to city, town to town, and his stays were mostly in modest hotels. He was scared of the gun.

After making sure that he was securely bound and that he would not be able to go anywhere other than bed, she went outside and came back with a bag a short while after.

She came to him and untied his legs. Then she took him over to the sofa and made him sit crouching over it. His ass was now facing her.

Adam could only think of think of the humiliating position the hotel crewmembers would find him when they’d come to rescue him.
